'rap' is 4 the lower life forms.. eminem is a loathsome hack of a human being and the world is worse off because of his unfortunate existence.

Many of Queens's Juice Crew ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juice_Crew ) are better than Em.

Rakim is greater than him.

Ice Cube is too.

KRS One is too.

RA, The Rugged Man, Apathy, and a few other White guys are too.

Ice T is a better rapper than him.

He had a good 5-6 year run, but once he aged out of doing the angry white boy thing, he was mostly done. High top 15 hip-hop artist, but not a top 3 or anything.

I'm not a fan of rap but a couple of his songs are pretty impressive.

Rapping is just rhyming over beats. Being good at rapping doesn't make someone a genius. Not by a long shot.

I like rap occasionally, but lets not go overboard.

Sounds like somebody grew up listening to rap in the late 80's and early 90's.

This is why it's hard to compare different generations and eras. The guys you named were legends for their time, pioneers that laid a foundation.

Eminem had an advantage because he built his empire off of their groundwork.

Eminem is standing on the shoulders on giants.

Oh and ice t isn't a better actor than Eminem let alone a better rapper.

Slow down, Ice T is great on the Rhyme Pays through OG albums. He's a beast at the story book style of rap. More importantly his stuff as aged better. He doesn't have club bangers or pop records, but let's not pretend that Ice T isn't great on the mic.

Eminem's best song is Stan, but I'd counter and say that 6' in the Morning is just as good a performance, granted you'd probably have to that old style beat -
