Car really unless he was speeding. But he wouldn’t have been able to stop since the car slammed on the brakes to get behind the other truck.  Hope he was wearing a Bluetooth device when he was on phone or it’ll be worse for the insurance company. Phone distraction and talking while driving distraction.

The driver of the car is an imbecilic and an inconsiderate and poor driver but the trucker is at fault. He rear ended a stopped car.

It doesn't matter if the car driver shouldn't have been trying to merge like, for all intents and purposes the driver could say they were stalled/broke down, it doesn't matter because the video shows that the cars taillights were visible from a distance so it would be negligence on the trucker's end.

I see tools like this every day on the highway getting to work.
Most of the time it's the semi's who do the stopping and cut everyone off since they think they have right of way.

Both imbeciles who should be bitch slapped in that video...

I loath and despise trucks...but it was the car...for taking it's sweet time to merge...and really, the car should have gone to the back of the line...

The trucker should have slowed down long before the asshole in the car came to a complete stop.  You see brake lights glowing without fluterring ahead?  Slow. The. Fuck. Down.  

On the other hand, and as others have noted, the prick in the car was one of those selfish jackasses who *knew* they had to merge to reach their exit, but they weren't willing to wait in line like everybody else.  

Legally, the truck driver will probably be reamed; karma-wise, the dickhead in the car got what he or she deserves.

And don't be so quick to assume the person in the car was someone of bone in the nose Hottentot ancestry.  It likely was, and a woman to boot, but it easily could've been a dumb white or Asian bitch behind the wheel.  The latter are notoriously awful drivers, worse than the most entitled burr heads of ditzy teenage white girls.
