The last time I paid a visit to the Grand Canyon, you could not take that donkey ride down to the Colorado river on one of those sure-footed critters if your bodywt exceeded 200 pounds ..... an those donkeys were huge!

A donkey can carry safely 20 to 25 % of his weight so most donkeys are 400 to 500 pounds so 100 to 150 pounds is a safe number its the owners fault not the tourists fault they should know better...

a good bodybuilder can squat at least double his own body weight so there's no reason a donkey shouldn't be able to carry at least 1 x it's own weight.

They should have a weight limit. Over the limit you have to carry the donkey during the tour.

This is pretty funny though.  Americans don't think body fat be like it is.....but it do.
