Not in Thailand bro, rec drugs are punishable by death, steroids you can buy at any pharmacy.  He paid off a lot of people to escape that charge. Thai police don't care about steroids.

Interesting. I figured those drugs were illegal (rec) but not more so than the other stuff. I guess Thailand is like Mexico where you can just buy it if you ask nicely and give them foreign hard currency.

Yeah he did bribe the authorities because he never went to prison, just a detention center followed by deportation. He had a house and a life there, must've sucked to be him until he got his money right.
