makes you wonder who's the real idiot...
You can make an identical statement about the millions of people in this country who sit in traffic, day in and day out, doing the same repetitive job in the hopes of having enough saved to visit a foreign country once they reach retirement age. Same address, same occupation, same never-increasing salary, and same people as their bosses preventing them from moving up in the places where they work.
Then you have those who actually have an idea, a talent, a gift, or just a marketing gimmick that catches on from a web-based application like YouTube and starts to pay the bills, and eventually does much more than that as the revenue increases from advertisements and sponsorships as well as increasing visitor counts. Whatever the idea is, it's 100,000x better than the first option of working the same shit job in a nothing-ever-happens twilight zone lifestyle that 8 out of 10 people are living.
So, while DP is wasting his time here with posting on a dead site, other people are making money. Absolutely. The reason why those people make money and people like DP don't is that first group has ideas, good ones and bad ones, and after enough experimentation one idea finally takes off. Everyone else has no ideas, don't ever wonder about doing things differently, and are comfortable in the little box they've put themselves in.
