What’s sad is that they’re arguing about politicians who likely don’t even give a damn about them.
It’s odd that people defend politicians like it’s a family member.
Like all the people here who defend Trump. Talk about beta behavior. Defending someone who doesn’t even know or care about you.
It’s strange what politics does to people.
They also do it with their favorite football player/team, their favorite actors, and so on.
People are followers. It's what they do best. Watch any argument in public between two people and the rest either crowd around to watch or pretend not to see it and walk away politely. It's under such circumstances that a Hitler or a Milosevic can come to power. They told people what to like and people enjoyed being told.
The average person only contributes to their own survival and leaves nothing of lasting value to the community or the world at large. Trump, like other smart politicians, has surrounded himself with a phalanx of loyalists who are smarter and better-informed than him, and act as shock absorbers when he speaks his mind on camera or social media. What talking heads on the left don't understand is that far from being a liability for the President, Twitter is his greatest asset. It's how he keeps a personal channel open to his base that other Presidents didn't have or use, Obama included (only made his own Twitter like 1 year before leaving office, and rarely used it).
