I echo your thoughts, sentiments, and rationale for voting Republican.
I can’t think of one President whose personality or demeanor changed (absent illness/injury – think W Wilson) while in office.
Would you expect your loud-mouth uncle to start behaving himself at family gatherings? Trump is a finished product who shouldn’t be able to continue delivering shock and awe, but the legacy media is emotionally invested in opposing him to the extent they’ve dropped journalistic standards – even the pretense of maintaining them. Social science depts. at colleges and universities are also unhinged when it comes to Trump.
Whatever rhetoric we hear, it’s almost always going to be only the left that resorts to violence. I see these Trump rallies (pre- and post-election) and think they serve as a relief valve for Trump supporters' frustrations.
If a Democrat wins in 2020, conservatives would accept it as they did Obama’s win and reelection. And they would attack President Warren’s ideas

and policies as vigorously as they attacked Obama’s. I won’t make a prediction on the outcome of 2020’s election other than to reference historical imperatives: incumbents win reelection unless challenged in the primary, and they do so with more votes than in their first (Obama being the glaring exception) win.
Remember who said, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” Buy ammo.
