What exactly do you mean by there is no controller? Can you please expand on that?
I can but it may be convoluted.
My views are very syncretistic and in line with someone like Bohm, wheeler and have a tantric slant. My esoteric beliefs are in line with what Jesus was actually saying, not the exoteric non-sense that was meant for the uninitiated. A hermetic principle as above so below, as below so above can be a helpful analogy here.
God in a kingly sense does not exist, that is simply a projection of our ego's, which also don't exist in reality. Our bodies operate without a controller in the sense that our liver detoxes without direction, our heart beats without our direction. We have the concept of a controller because we have created one to help understand things. We all have the I thought in our heads that is "us", the ego, the controller. Upon inspection there is no such thing, the I one has created is simply another thought, thoughts about thoughts, meta-cognition. Try to meditate and you will quickly discover you have no control over your thoughts as you perceive you do, the voluntary thoughts and involuntary thoughts are arbitrarily defined when no such thing exists. Just as your body operates without conscious control so does the cosmos (as above so below), it shines the stars (I get the word it is clumsy here, there is no it, just suchness, happenings) without control, the galaxies move without instruction, it's just a happening, just like your thoughts are a happening.
The mind is to blame for this, it creates dualities where none exist (but does so to help one function, it chops things up for digestibility purposes). For example, front and back, they are not separate things, there is no front without back and vice versa, they are interdependent, where does front begin and back end? it's arbitrary, it's non-dual just like reality. Nothing exists on its' own its all relationship and relative, you cant have space without solids and solids with space. The buddhist doctrine of sunyata elucidates this.
Whatever exists is (I believe it to be awareness, consciouness) is non-conceptual , reflexively self-aware, non-dual, self-recursive and in a physics sense has complementarity. It is paraconsistent logic and a dialetheism, it's both everything and nothing all at once. It's just a happening and trying to find a controller for this happening is like a fire trying to burn itself, or a knife trying to cut itself. Some people can call it god, the tao, brahma whatever, it's everything and no-thing at all. It's beyond concepts and trans-rational.
Imagine if you had to consciously control your breathing, heart rate, temp etc it would be insanity. there is nothing to control, it is autocatalytic in essence.
