We do have the worse Mayor ever in the history of the city. For the rest, mostly BS as usual. St-Denis, Sevran....suburbs, not Paris. If you live in the city, you never go there. Migrant camps are at the North East of the city. Same, no need to go there if you live in the center of Paris. It’s dirty, yes. Specially in the touristical zones. Avoid the Champs-Elysées, the Eiffel Tower. Cheap dirty tourists that attract the scum from the suburbs. Paris should be forbidden to tourists who don’t make above a certain income. I stayed at Hotel Raphael (right next to The Peninsula) and it was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Right there at the Champs-Elysees and it was very nice. There were however tons of moslem immigrants begging on the sidewalk, it was Christmas. I have a few ten euros and told them Jesus loved them, merry Christmas. I’d go back again, I thought it was a great place, but a bit dirty like New York.

The Raphael is nice; the bar with the roof top terrace is still a classic. I don't like the area though; too many tourist that attract the hoodlums for the northern and eastern suburbs. What you thought were Muslim beggars were not; they were Roms that try to pass for migrants as they think people are more sympathetic to those. Roms have a very bad reputation in Paris and 9 out of 10 beggars is Rom, they work for gangs who live in the slumps in Montreuil or Saint-Denis. The migrants have all been packed in the north-east of the city, north of Oberkampf, toward Porte de la Chapelle and Porte de Clignancourt. They just added chaos to chaos as those were already the impoverished areas of Paris.
