is he an employee or a customer? i can't see the badge on his shirt.
Are you blind? That would explain a lot of your posts, if so. The badge is right there on his fucking shirt
with his name on it, Ray Charles.
He was only in about 44 episodes and he was a minor character. You also have to consider that the show was in the 80's so there wasn't that much money flowing around and there was only one person making the big bucks....Bill Cosby. He had other acting jobs and he would have been fine with residuals if everything didn't happen like it did. Now with his residual basically trashed and living in New York, he did what he had to do and took up an 11 dollar an hour job at Trader Joes
So what if he was only in 44 episodes? He got a direct deposit proportional to his investment in the show. He clearly shouldn't have gotten anything like what Malcolm Jamal Warner or Bill were paid if he wasn't a more important aspect of the program, whose quality took a nosedive about 4 seasons in and was on for way too long. Literally anyone could've played a lightskin with a jherri curl who married the oldest daughter, he knows how lucky he was to get what turned out to be his only noteworthy part in acting. The fact that he got paid for 22 years after the show went off the air is another example of how actors don't really work like the rest of us do. Know many people that get paid to get up in the morning for something they did 20 years ago, besides retired law enforcement and firefighters? Should we set up a gofundmepage for him because he couldn't milk 30 years out of it due to the lead actor being a sick, demented rapist, too?
Honestly, I respect a person who rolls up his sleeves and goes to work rather than fuck family and friends over for money. I think they need to leave him alone as he's getting the backlash and consequences for things he had nothing to do with
Yeah, a guy who got a regular job like the rest of us, really impressive stuff. Next you'll tell us he puts on his own socks, too.
