Yup. Saw them in a store this summer.  The quality has really gone down compared to years back, but the prices are ridiculous.

I have a buddy who buys these things and literally trades them like a commodity. He’s on some shoe website where he buys and sells these things and speculates. He literally will buy them for like $900 and flip them for $1,500-$2,000 just so someone can have them a month before they come out in stores. Pretty nifty side gig on his part.

Agreed....sad that my own people will kill each other over some fucking shoes.   The most expensive shoes I had was a red pair of Troop LL Cool J's that my mom got back in 88 at Journey's.   Damn shoes would turn my socks red in the rain from all of the bleeding...lol.   I did get some black and white Adidas with some Dookie laces but after I turned 13, I stopped fucking with shit like that and wore Etonics and Sebego Docksides so I could save up for my first computer.  I was already branded an Urkel anyway so I honestly didn't give a shit. 


Nowadays, I am more into shoes so I have a nice collection of Italian footwear but I mainly have a bunch of Chuck Taylors.....can never go wrong with those
