Not really arguing with this because it's not the first time it's been said and, technically, it's not untrue. However, lifting weights with the goal of competing in a physique show is a rigorous physical activity (even when weighted against Heath's "uninspiring" workouts.) On one hand, you can make the argument that bodybuilding doesn't really require any special physical skill or ability and it's really just a looks competition. On the other hand, no matter how many drugs you take, you do have to engage in rigorous physical activity to compete at a high level. I can't really think of any other "pageant" activities where that's true. So, for me, it's like whateva.
My thing is this you take all the drugs away from a pro bber and he’s nothing , you wouldn’t look twice at him in public, pro bbers are dependent on drugs and lots of it
You take drugs away from a pro athlete that plays baseball, football or whatever real sport and he’s still a top specimen and was most likely a high recruit in college and top player in the nation from high school on
Drugs are the real finishing touch for a pro athlete but it isn’t for a pro bber, they rely on grams and tons of different cycles
Take Phil without all the drugs he’s just another 5’9 guy with arms, there’s tons of those guys at local gyms (I’m not talking about Phil when he turned pro or now, talking about how when he was a real natural)
I get your point as well, not starting an argument either, it’s been beat to death haha
This is my two cents
