No idea at all. He may have at one time been a great professor and changed after he got tenure. Maybe he was well known for his views in psychology and administration saw this as a draw for increasing student body numbers. Once a professor has tenure, they are difficult to terminate. That's what tenure is about. Tenure; give (someone) a permanent post, especially as a teacher or professor.
And this is a system you'd want to send your kids to? A place where mentally-unhinged, far left pedophiles hold the entire university's faculty, its students, and its administrations hostage through vexatious litigation and obstructionism owing to their bonded station within the university?
No wonder the Left found the ground prepared for them in America's college campuses. It's perfect for them. They can say whatever they want, no matter how false, ignorant, libelous, zany, or inappropriate to the subject they're teaching, and never lose their inflated salaries or pension. Pretty nice. You should've gotten in on that, since you're straight from central casting when it comes to those myriad negative character flaws and bear the same sanctimonious need to lecture others, no matter how uninterested they are in hearing it.
