How would Ronnie 2006 do against this year's lineup? I think he would win tonight. Rhoden is in shape but his aesthetics arent good (his muscle bellies are shapeless, he has no arms, ugly abs, no back thickness) Dex looks like Ronnie in his last O, old and run down, Wtf happened to his left bicep? Phil looks weird his arms stopped growing but everything else grew his head, his gut, his legs.
He does look amazing from the side, and from the back.
He has the goat hamstrings, and side chest poses (when he covers his gut).

For all his gut and injuries, and his pathetically bad diet prior to the 2006 Olympia (koolaid, sprite, BSN No Xplode shakes, hamburgers, a gallon of BBQ sauce a day), he was peeled to the bone that year. Jay did not have an easy fight in front of him. These are the best quality and most revealing photos of Ronnie at that penultimate Olympia...you can see in his face that's he's beyond destroyed emotionally at what happened. Insane vascularity...show me ONE guy on stage this year who had that much. None.

Ronnie looked worse in the prejudging that year though.  He dried out for the finals.

Yep, the finals is all I was referring to, and that's pretty much where the game is decided.

Jay actually brought his back up that year, I don't think he was necessarily better than Ronnie that night but Jay was the heir apparent and if he didn't get the win that year after his improvement then I'm sure he wasn't going to keep pursuit of the trophy. I'm sure the politics of its Jays time played a role.

And as Earl said Ronnie had that lat issue.
