Your girlfriend Culter robbed Ronnie of #9.  Even with the lat and quad issues, he was still a better bodybuilder.

Rhoden deserved it. Glad to see Curry in the top 5. Roelly is a mutant. Ramy will never be the freak Ruhl, Dillett or Ronnie was.

If he feels he could still improve(after so many years as a pro and steadily regressing each year)and make a comeback a la 2009 Cutler then he should stay. If not and relaying on others being off or having a gift from the judges- better retire before damaging his legacy even more by going down the ranks like Coleman in 2007 or Cutler in 2013.

Could he possibly up the dosage? And if he did, his midsection would get even worse.  Perhaps if he comes in lighter and really nails the conditioning he’d have a chance. I dunno, seems like he’s past his prime to me.

i think his best was 2011, he gets worse and worse each year since then like pretty much all of them, most peak about midway through their career and then it's just downhill

he'll come back like they all do to "prove something" to himself and the haters, but how often does that work out?

he should call it a career he has the money and sandows, he should still have his health too

he probably wants to win at least 9 to break the record but i don't think that will convince anybody he's better than ronnie so why bother?

In Phil's defense , he was off , it was close and he can still win again. Shawn wasn't eons better with that being said the old adage didn't apply , you have to KO the champ. Shawn won I think it's a fair call but he didn't outclass him he just accumulated more mandatories

For the most part, if you compare body parts, Phil has superior development.  His midsection and lack of conditioning got him.  If he can solve those two issues, he can win again and take the title back.  Most people wrote Jay off, then he came back in 2009 and wiped the floor with everyone.

Except, Jay still had a subpar back, with lower back wrinkles.

What was wrong with his lower abdomen - it seemed he couldn’t control it and it had a lot of water?

He should focus on selling Gift boxes.

P.S. Doesn’t charging for something negate its being a gift?

Shawn appears to be a weak Mr. Olympia, a one timer like Dickerson. I think should come back but he has to change things up.

If Curry improves his lower body and nails his conditioning, look out.  His upper body is nuts.

He can always sign up as a 'house guest', but I do not think the master of house likes dark meat. Lol
