2018 Olympia - How would Kai Green have done @ the 2018 Olympia?
« on: September 18, 2018, 10:02:25 PM »
Kai hasn't competed since 2016 when he won the ASC

would he have won the 2018 O?

I think he may come back in 2019 for the O

he rapes Rhoden from the back , Kai's back poses were better than Phils but has Kai regressed since 2016 when he just edged Cedric Mcmillan

The reason people like Jay, Dexter and Rhoden won Olympias is because they never gave up the belief they could win.  Like many others, Kai gave up and hence, has never won.

Those guys never had physiques that should've been number one, other than Jay in the mid-2000s and 2001, when Ronnie was off. If he'd have shown up at the 2002 O, he might've broken the Coleman reign, since Ron looked awful that year.

Kai was head and shoulders better than Phil and still lost, over and over. He figured out the judges had decided they weren't going to give it to him even if his competition took the night off.

Kai was never head and shoulers above Phil, if at all.  Kai makes excuses as to why he didn't win, which is why he never will.

No, he was in a few places, man. Lower back, he torched Phil. His bicep insertions were also a lot tighter and more peaked. His hams and quads more than rivaled Phil's and were more striated. He had a longer torso and much flatter midsection as well. Better defined hamstrings too. But he lacked traps and upper back detail, even though his thickness was dominant.

Kai beat Phil 2013-15
esp. from the back poses

Really? I thought that's where Phil had the clear edge on him from the shoulders and middle back up. The rest, Kai bodied him - whether on conditioning, lines, proportion, separations, detail, you name it. Other than his checkered past in G4P and his stupid dreadlock ponytail, Kai should've gotten it. There's a reason he cried openly when he no longer went to the Olympia.
