Vitamix?

Who owns one?  Are you satisfied with it?  I just ordered the Professional Series 750.  And don't start the price bullshit.  I went through 3 cheap Oster machines. 7 yr warranty for $377 on sale is a good deal.

This guy is good.

Got a Ninja for a gift. and works awesome.

If you can afford a $377 blender then go for it.

Now, with my approval, you can sleep well.

I have one.    They do everything well.

Just need to decide if the extra $ are worth it between that and a ninja.

Had a ninja, but the vitamix destroys it.

But if you're just blending shakes, vitamix / ninja / nutri bullet will all get it done.

I had a nutri-bullet before the osters.  The plastic gear crap was worn within 4 months.

Not surprised.

The Vitamix motor has a 7 year warranty on it, I believe.

Me and my wife have a ninja and my mother has a vitamix. She loves it and recommends it to everyone. I use hers when I'm visiting, so here's my comparison, if interested:

The ninja we got came with the personal cup attachment, which was the main thing I was interested in to make protein shakes. We've had it replaced twice and they've never lasted for more than a few months. So now i make my  shakes 2 at a time in the regular pitcher. The ninja we got is digital. It's sort of a time consuming process to make a shake with ninja. The vitamix is way faster and simpler. You don't have to deal with the annoying blade assembly, it's easier to add something while you're mixing, it's easier to clean. It's also a bit quieter. In terms of power, they are pretty close, but I'll occasionally add kale or spinach to my shakes and the vitamix mixes them noticeably more consistently.  I would probably upgrade to a vitamix if shakes weren't literally the only thing we used it for. Ninja's still a pretty good blender. I suspect the personal cup for the vitamix is probably just as shoddy as most other personal cups, but the vitamix pitcher is easier to clean than the ninja.

One thing I have noticed is that my shakes come out with more volume after I make them in the vitamix. I put them in bottles after I make them and when I use the vitamix there will be too much to fit into the bottles. For me that's not a positive.

I think that's from air since the motor is so strong.

I've mitigated it by only blending at the highest level for a short amount of time.

Also have a Ninja, forget how loud that is because its not used since the Vitamix purchase.

Bought a Ninja, and sent it back.  It was a pain in the ass to clean, and messy as well.  The big blade tree inside sucked.

Bought a Blendtec, and it's been great.  I have over 1000 blends on it, and it's same as new.

I have an old school one from the 90s. Fucker still works great! Only thing that went was the rubber seal on the top.

Have used my vitamix 4-5 times a week over the past 7 years with no issues. It would still puree hockey pucks effortlessly

It's the best blender on the market, plain and simple.  The only reason not to get one is if the price is too high for you.  It blends everything, is US made, and lasts forever.  Buy one and you'll never need another blender in your life.

I use it everyday, mostly to blend greens into protein shakes.  Other uses are when recipes call for something to be blended/pureed.

It's not hard to clean provided that you rinse it out immediately after use.  Letting the shake dry on the walls will make it a pain in the ass to get off.  The only issue I have is that the blender receptacle is starting to get cloudy (I've had mine for 8 years now) but it still works fine...just a bit unsightly.

Same thing on the cloudy part.  Not sure why they didn't go with glass.
