Liberal activists believe they have a shot at convincing Republican senators Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Jeff Flake of Arizona, along with Democratic senators Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia, to vote no on Kavanaugh's confirmation. Protestors and sexual assault survivors have confronted some of those senators to discuss their decisions, and Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, said Republicans "will not be intimidated by these people."

I think it is about time that all these public accusations cease. Victims should go to the police and have complaints dealt with properly. This is fair for those accused.

The fact that she's pressing charges 9 years later and that she accepted a huge payoff not to do so the first time. Whether the story was leaked or she did it on her own doesn't change the fact that she's the one pressing the issue, not them. Nobody forced "Dr" Ford to accuse Kavanaugh of absurd and unprovable allegations, either. The Left acts like these women were forced to do these things. They clearly weren't. I don't buy it.

Dr. Ford and her story is a sham. She wasn't raped. She wasn't going to be murdered (thats what she claimed went through her mind). Her story doesn't hold up compared to previous accounts. She can't remember key facts and the key people she remembers won't or can't collaborate her story.

Despite all that people look at Kavanaugh differently. Because of the hearing many think he is a liar and a drunk (and in many cases a sexual predator), and he may very well be but those weren't the thoughts of the general public prior to this fiasco.

Ronaldo's accuser was where she said she was with those she said she was with. She admitted to kissing him in a bathroom (which the initial investigator said would be a problem for her. It's interesting that he would allegedly say that. Imagine how it would feel if because you kissed someone sex became an option based on the other persons decision). She walked into his room after he exposed himself and we can argue the wisdom of her decision but if she said no to sex (and by Ronaldos accounts she did)  and he still had sex with her what should it be called (she had a rape kit examination)?

We know there are women who trick and lure these rich men into sex to get pregnant or for payouts. We know there are women who have sex and lie about being raped to preserve their reputation. We also know there are men who rape women and insist it's consensual.

The most important action we can take is to offer justice to the victim, whether that be a raped woman or a falsely accused man.
