Prime I think you're being obtuse. Dr. Ford could very well have the next supreme court justice learning from her teachings.
Supreme court justices spend plenty of time learning under and being influenced by their college professors. I'm willing to bet each justice could name a professor who influenced their view and interpretation of the law.
Those interpretations become the laws that impact or lives.
To suggest a college professor has less influence than a SC Justice is ridiculous.

Judges, including those on the Supreme Court get their college degrees in law. Ford is a clinical psychology professor at Palo Alto University in California. A biostatistician, she “specializes in the design and analysis of clinical trials and other forms of intervention evaluation,” according to the university. It is not highly likely a Supreme Court Justice would enroll in classes taught by Professor Ford.
