I prefer reading 'Ship of Fools' 1962 by Katherine Ann Porter. In it's way, this story is political too. It reflects a different time and yet reveals similarities between then and now.

This is the reason I tend to keep my expectations of liberal's repsonses so low because doing so ensures I will never, ever be disappointed in them.  Being so childishly, so patently ignorant is not so much a shame as is your refusal to learn.  And so, once again instead of learning, you are taught a lesson and all by my ability to convey my thoughts with a rapier-like (that's a sword, not a rapist, chief) wit.

Everything that has ever been said will be said over and over throughout the course of our lives.   It is up to us to choose wisely.  Given the dross you posited here and I quoted above, you chose...poorly.

I've been there but there is a difference in my writing and their typing.  I have flair and wit whilst they're just full of shit.  I can respect some of them and do, but have no problem here or in the real world making my point.  In my case, the tip of the spear is dipped in humor.

Agnostic007 is an otherwise fine person.  We just disagree politically and I find it more than disingenuous that he claims to be a retired LEO but leans so far left that he is rarely right.  And by "right" I mean "correct". 

Since the loss of my faith I am able to belittle and ridicule with a far greater palette.  And I am the same in person because I no longer have any reason to be polite to assholes.
