Haney is the best MR. O of all time, and great family person. Fuck you Arnie, ya weird/political prick. (from some goofy land).
(Plus Arnie's all lopsided, and goofy in the brain).

Lee's the GOAT.

I respect Lee's achievements on stage and the way he introduced the mass monster era to bodybuilding (as opposed to the gut monster era, which is retarded and ruined everything).

But he's remained marginal to the industry and had no charisma or personality outside of being a nice guy and a good Christian family man.

For me, Yates is the true winner. He was the biggest, hardest, driest, freakiest bodybuilder (for his height) of his period, and stepped down before destroying his health or his body. He's now in good health, 20 years retired, owns his own gym, has a beach property, another in England, doesn't need a 9-5 job, has a hot wife, and smokes weed and drinks red wine year-round. Plus he's a humble guy, even if not completely honest about his exact drug use and with limited replay value in interviews.

Im probably a bit older than you, so after Haney retired, and Yates came on w/ the HUGE HGH/Insulin look, I was done.
I do like Dorian, and I like his early look, I love how he trained and what he stands for.

Big Yates fan...

He looked good until 1994. After that, he went the insulin/GH route in a bigger way than before and it hurt is waist and his sharpness. For a guy with English white guy genetics, he was insanely good. Blew Cutler and Warren out the water easily. But he knew when to call it a day and he had other things in life to move onto. Ronnie doesn't. Kevin doesn't. Flex doesn't. To me that's what makes him a winner rather than his physique, which deteriorated a lot in the late 1990s.

Fully agree, dude is legit legend in BB, has fun. Haney/Dorian > "Peanut" Coleman and the rest.
Just watched Yates training DVD again recently (Blood/Guts), insane training. (Yes I own DVD's and VHS... Old)...

Yup...not many of these former BB champs can make the transition because sooner or later you have too live the rest of your life after your “career” is over.

IMO Yates definitely 100% moved on, he looks great these days and appears too be doing quite well for himself etc, there was NO ONE more focused or serious than Yates in his prime he gave 110%...great too see he’s actually enjoying life these days more power too the man.
