Reminds me of the gym in the 90s for sure.  Even the later 80s.

Roided men screaming encouragement to their equally roided training buddy.

Yeeaghh!  Hulk smash!  Yeeaghh!  Hulk crush puny weight!  Yeeagh!

Lets not forget that he never received a pro card.  So it appears there was a better check and balance in place.

yeah, that's easily the gayest introduction & training video I've ever seen, and I include Branch Warren's black & white semi-porno training video from 2007 where he basically screamed for 3 hours straight while walking around with plated-loaded chains around his neck and threw barbells across the gym.

Roid-rage is real.

Believe it.

90s were the Golden age of everything.

Literally the most interesting decade.

Anyway,I don't see your point.

This video is 300 times better than today's phaggoty boring bodybuilding videis after which I wan't to kill myself knowing how faggoty and uninteresting the gyms and weightlifting had become.

In person, Palumbo was an absolute freak. Just a behemoth.

I attended a meeting with him in the late ‘90s, and he was full of veins and had paper-thin skin, and he weighed 315 pounds.

Sweating like a maniac. Out of breath from climbing several steps.

Unfortunately, on stage in a battle thong, he looked largely unpleasant.

Then began what we now know as Palumboism.

Th only people who think the 90s were the Golden Age of Bodybuilding are those who were born after 1975

Note to those people: It wasn't the Golden Age of Bodybuilding.

It was the beginning of the end of bodybuilding.

I don't know about the 'Golden Age of BB' but,
1965 > 1980 was romantic time of bodybuilding, everyone wanted to attend NABBA MR.Universe in London & visit Venice beach !.

So?

You like the idea of bodybuilding that you like, and I like a different kind.

We kids were super hyped and inspired seeing those mass monsters in the 90s.
It was not so much bodybuilding that I was interested in,more like weightlifting and getting jacked and massive.
Not the thong battle.
And these guys from the 90s look a hell of a lot better than the bloated monstrosities today.
Even Palumbo looked awesome for some time, like in this video....before he developed the syndrome.
