I actually shitcanned all trophies, ribbons, awards or mementos from childhood along time ago.  I only have 1 picture of myself from the past (Marine Corps dress blues) and it's packed away in a cedar chest and I'm one helluva good looking dude.

What does it matter if Bill Belichick has a shrine of himself in his own home? If he didn't, he would still have a job and it's not like he needs to drum up business for himself. Why would any coach or athlete need to display their trophies for business?   Would Tom Brady be out of a job and broke poor if he didn't show off his trophies?

I simply pointed out that not all famous coaches or athletes have to display their accomplishments for business, as your original premise stated.

Being a DD-214 from the Marines is something to be proud of. Get big will be the judge if you are a helluva good looking dude. Put up a picture. I have all my metals and plaques from my track days as a sprinter in college and high school in a shoe box. The only thing I got up is my Shadow box from 28 years of service. The rest is packed away and I'm am one helluva good looking dude.
