That's 385kg, give or take. It's close to the weight of a piano. On a wild animal with a huge mouth full of sharp teeth and the ability to break through wired cages when agitated. But yeah, sounds very likely.

The team of pitbulls probably held the boar at bay while the guy jumped on it's back and stabbed at its jugular, until it bleed out.

When I was 13 & 14 I worked on a diary farm. A pregnant cow was dying while giving birth (or something along those lines) and it had to be put down. For whatever reason the farmer I worked for didn't have any guns available so he took a butcher's knife and tried to cut the cows jugular vein. The knife wouldnt actually cut through the cows skin so after a while he tried to stab to the cow in the neck. I remember the first jab ricocheted off, the knife and his hand bounced right off almost like a basketball off the floor.

He eventually stabbed through the neck and the cow was put down but I'll never forget how it was nearly impossible to stab through that hide (The farmers brother showed up hours later with a shotgun but by that time a butcher had been called and he had skinned the cow with tiny filet knifes, he did it so quickly and easily, it was the craziest thing I had ever seen).

That said from that point on I've always laugh when I hear people talk about killing wild game with a knife. That cow put up ZERO resistance and it still wasn't killed easily.  I literally couldn't even fathom trapping an animal with a thick hide like a feral boar and taking it down with a knife.

Most knives would fail on the boar's dermis. In addition to thick skin, its body is encased in a nearly-impregnable layer of fat (not quite on the level of whale or walrus blubber, but same concept - it's an evolutionary adaption to protect against bites). No slicing action would work, only sticking. But unless you had tremendous force and near-perfect aim as well as a keen understanding of the boar's anatomy, you'd likely just jab it, which would infuriate it and lead to it attacking you viciously. Wild boars don't run. They bite...one good bite with the slightest pulling could probably pull a human arm out of the shoulder socket. And they eat dying prey, so they'd finish you off in a matter of minutes. The whole thing is so absurdly stupid, it's on par with people who claim to kill bears with their bare hands and folkloric shit like that. Maybe a small American black bear if you're fast and strong enough, but a fully grown? Yeah right. And those ones are tiny compared to the brown ones anyway. One swipe from those things and your skull would be caved in.

Well there you go. People actually hunt boars with knives.

But those were far from being an 800 pound hog, i'm sure that one plays out a little differently.

Hey bud don't contradict the getbig experts lol they Google these things and they know better.

1.can't slit a hogs throat with a knife with 6 80 lbs dogs holding it

2. Steroids are dumb to use

3.no one takes grams of gear to get jacked

4.macros and high reps to get jacked yo

Sadly the only people with sense are the trolls like fallsview

One of my uncles raised pigs.  He had a sow that weighed in at over 800 lbs.  It was so big that the males couldn't mate successfully with it so he slaughtered it.  He told me that if it can't make bacon it becomes bacon.   ;D

Wild pigs can get HUGE.  Even mountain lions will think hard before tackling a pig weighing several hundred pounds.

Hordes of wild (domestic) pigs in Australia & New Zealand, dogs hunting is very popular 'sport'.
Damages what they do to sugar cane farms in Queensland  :o :o :o

I'm sorry I hurt your feelings bro, I said I was wrong.

I shared my personal experience with trying to cut a cows throat with a butcher knife (not a bowie knife), in the same story I also shared how a butcher was able to skin the cow easily with his knives.

You said your work out buddy killed an 800 boar with pitbulls. In the videos posted there wasn't an 800 boar, so I guess you should be able to understand why I didn't take your secondhand story from your friend as 100% credible.

Again i'm sorry I attempted to discredit your story.

It's amazing how wildlife wasn't an issue for native indians.
Neither was global warming, traffic, overpopulation in isolated areas, herpes, AIDS...…….should I go on?

It's not you lol I don't care if anyone believes or not because I myself didn't see it either, just him standing next to it hanging from a big ass chain in a picture, but guys do it all the time down here, get the dogs to bay them then you stab through the rib cage into the heart, pretty tender spot on them

Just a few getbig cynics that have something negative to say about everything especially anything bodybuilding/gear related(on a bodybuilding forum) in each of their 60 posts they make per day while saying everyone else is a loser

Gotcha bro. I honestly didn't think it was possible. The videos prove otherwise. Those guys killed the hogs easier than I can change a baby diaper.

That's why I like getbig, theres so many different experiences you can always learn something new.

When you provide an unedited video of someone you know (or not) killing a boar the size you quoted, we'll be happy to believe you. No one said you can't kill wild animals. What we're saying is there's not much likelihood that an animal that size was slain with a knife.
