Very excited.

Am unsure how I feel, though, about an ending that could go one of only two ways.

I’ve always felt total sympathy for Ivan. He was made to do one thing and his loss to Rocky would have crippled his life. He’s a war machine. The system wouldn’t tolerate him losing.

I’m also a huge fan of Apollo, but his son isn’t him, and in a way, I’d like to see the junior Drago put a serious beating on him.

Does anyone wonder why a heavyweight is fighting a middleweight? Why Drago’s son resembles a cross-fitting juicehead and not looking remotely like a boxer? If there’s any way a white guy defeats a black guy in a movie in 2018 P.C.? Save your money. Pffft.

It's a story of redemption, the son getting revenge for his dead father. Obvious what will happen but worth watching for nostalgia's sake.

Now THIS would be epic storytelling. Drago jr. smashes the chocolate face into oblivion. Sends his monster-truck-sized lips off his face and into his corner water bucket. Melon blood spraying all over Rocko. Headless corpse crashing to the canvas.

Then Drago senior walks over to Balboa and lands a warhead fist straight into his face, caving it in.

And both Rocky and his protege are died.

Final scene is the Dragos eating lasagna at Adrian’s Restaurant, throwing noodles at Spider.

HAHA can you imagine the shocked faces in the audience? This would blow people's minds! Only a small percentage (like us!) would be pumped up beyond belief and over joyed at the Heels getting the unexpected victory!

On some level, Creed should lose. The original Rocky was good, but what made it great is that the hero lost.
