Nurse fired for dressing up like Beyoncé

Shelbi Elliott-Heenan, a nurse at a hospital near Kansas City, Missouri, was terminated from her position after a photo circulated online of her in blackface dressed as Beyoncé for a Halloween costume.

Heenan posted a photo on Facebook of herself, in blackface, dressed in a black top and silver skirt standing next to a man dressed in a white t-shirt, a black vest, and jeans. Heenan captioned the photo, “Jay Z & Beyoncé” with the microphone emoji.

The guy who did the video is a truly woke fellow who is not in the back pockets of the liberals and wannabe social justice warriors. As an aside, I think more black people are becoming aware that the Democrats do not really give a rats ass about them and only use black folk for votes. Trump can get a significant shift and the Dems would be history.

While I do get what you’re saying, I believe there is a difference between dressing up as someone else at Halloween and “blackface”. Had she been carrying watermelon and kool aid I would wholeheartedly agree.
