I was just holding out hope that LSU would win or come close. I know Coach O and spent time with him (from when he was at SC) and I also know Tommy Moffitt from meeting him at a USC clinic then spending a week at LSU (his Invite) in the weight room and on the field with the team. I've also spent a few days at Alabama with Scott Cochran, again, in the weight room and on the field.

What you said doesn't make bit of difference unless you've actually spent time with coaches and players in a practice or weight room situation. Most knew Bama would win, I chose LSU. That being said LSU did stop their first qtr scoring streak.

Agreed about Saban and knew Bama would win, again, just holding out hope. It's tough enough to make a D1 program as a recruit let alone as a walk on. Props for making a go of it. Nowadays, the quality of prospects going into the D1 programs is off the hook. I have a breakdown list of what each division in the NCAA looks for aside from academics just as measurables go. It's insane unless the numbers are there.

It wasn’t even close to a possibility man. What I thought was strength and speed is so far from strength and speed of a good college athlete

I was relating going to a big 10 school with knowing college sports. If you have a penis and go to OSU it’s sort of engrained in you.

Watch the combine, you have 300 of the best D1 prospects that get the invite and compared to the rest of the NCAA, their picks are pretty close to where they should be. What I said about not having the size but having the measurables, John Ross was a perfect example when he broke the 40 record a couple of combines back by running a 4.22 WITH a bum hamstring. I was able to work with him on his strength a little last off-season because he was still having issues but here's a kid, not much taller than me (they have him listed at 5'11 but he's no taller than 5'9) and about a buck 85, then on the other end of the spectrum you have absolute FREAKS like Jadeveon Clowney that a ran a 4.5 40 at 6'6 275lbs....I couldn't even imagine getting hit by that.
