I was driving and a squirrel darted out into the middle of the street and I tried to swerve, but I couldn’t and I ran him over. I saw his little body twitching. 😢😢

It’s not like he was going to compose Beethoven’s 6th Symphony. Also he was a candidate for a Darwin Award for playing chicken in the street. Plus, the squirrel was a Trump fan because he loves nuts. So basically he deserved it. Although that would change if the squirrel was black and the driver was white. That would be a hate crime. Confused.

I had a dog that darted out in front of my car right in front of the family. The little dog was off the leash. I stopped my car and the father said I told them to keep that dog on a leash. It's not your fault. Felt like hell while he held the dog's lifeless body. I drove to the police station and the cop said it's not your fault don't worry about it. I asked him to take my name in case the family had a change of heart and said it was my fault.

I think you meant Beethoven's 9th Symphony but the squirrel wasn't composing any symphonies anyway.

West Linn has the distinction of being called 'tree city'. There is an abundance of squirrels. I'd rather hit one of these little critters than a deer crossing the road which happens frequently. Flattened skunks are sink up the area for days.
