On the eve of an important game, Babe Ruth promised to hit a homerun for a young fan in need.  Uncle Bobby, will you go out there tomorrow and bring home the grand prize for me?

I don't think that's his style.

But Bob did offer to take your bets on the outcome.  He said 1 to 10 odds that he'll win.  He's more of a Pete Rose than a Babe Ruth, but a legend nonetheless!

Uncle Bobby is going to go out there tomorrow and win that trophy.  Not just for me, but all of the youngsters looking up to him, putting our faith and fragile trust in humanity in his decency, integrity, and sense of fair play.  Tell 'em Uncle Bobby!
