Reeves looked so shit doing ju jitsu and "Gun Fu"

you can see true martial arts like Seagal, Van Damme, their fight scenes/moves look real fluent and are good but Reeves looked totally fake/wooden

Movie making technology has come a long way. It's possible for action films and those who act in them to look incredibly real regardless that it is all still fakery. Action films have never been known for having intelligent plots. If one does, it's a rarity.

Savate AKA Boxe Française.  I trained under a Silver Glove II and experienced how kicks for them are like jabs for boxers.
