Agreed. That resignation letter by Mattis was scathing...a total rebuke that you never see anyone do in public...but all the ball-lickers want to talk about is Hillary ..woooooowww
Our nation is designed so that there is civilian control of the armed forces. Its a feature not a flaw. Sec Mattis was no darling to the democrats until 24 hours ago and then suddenly, the liberal cabal of the United States is using this peaceful, quiet, happy guy and his choice to step down as an example of what is wrong with the current direction of our nation. The same liberal cabal that displayed abject horror at the thought of a SECDEF that had uttered these horrible -HORRIBLE things while performing his duties......
**there are some assholes in this world that just need to be shot
**there is only one retirement plan for terrorists
**Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.
**I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.
The man built a reputation as a warrior. So - when the POTUS makes a choice to pull out of a conflict, chances are, the warrior will disagree with him. Sec Mattis is a fine American that has spent his life serving the nation - but when you carry a hammer, everything looks like a nail...
It also doesn't make him "right" nor does it make him "wrong" it just means that his resignation letter reads like it was written by the exact same man that said....
You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them. Actually it's quite fun to fight them, you know. It's a hell of a hoot. It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right up there with you. I like brawling.
The POTUS just said 'no more brawling'
...it isnt really any more complicated than that regardless of how the media wants to make more complicated than that.
