The media includes suicide in their statistics and treat it as though it's no different than murder.

They compare the US to other "developed countries".  Countries that are largely homogeneous and don't have gangs of blacks and hispanics (the people that do most of the murdering) like the US.

White areas, even the ones with large numbers of guns and concealed weapon permits, have much lower murder rates.

My conclusion

It isn't the guns.  The media is made up of (mostly) intelligent people so they know this.  They are intentionally omitting this information and pushing hard to take away our 2nd amendment rights.

The people in the press are no longer journalists chasing the facts.  They are leftist political activists that ignore, downplay or misreprestent the truth when it doesn't suit their well planned agenda.

Yup, heroin and opioids is very big in the New England states. Seems like Vermont and New Hampshire have huge problems with these drugs.
