Tired of this. I’ve lifted at Golds Venice just as long or longer than Mike. I always praised Mike for his strength. And he’s an approachable nice enough guy. But I cannot stand him having his dog in the gym though. The dog lays in the oddest areas and you often have to walk around him. I think it’s both a hazard to the dog and members. I myself would not impose on other people by making them walk around my dog etc. I have taken a bunch of pix of piles of the dog’s gross shed hair all over the place. In all my over 30 years lifting at Venice I’ve never seen so much dog hair all over the weights and floor.

Just remember. No one loves your dog like you do. I have boxers and have all my life. I realize when guests come over if they act up they are taken to another room. I would never take my dogs to a gym and allow then to roam and lay around. I’d feel like like was imposing on the other members.

u can die from injuries like that. Happens all the time. Patient of mine was waking her boyfriends dog. Dog pulled her quickly to chase something she was pulled headfirst into a parked car. Broke her neck. Another young kid. Helping his dad side a house. Slipped on a board they had made as a makshitft scaffold. Only 3 feet off the ground. His dad says he heard his sons neck crunch as he hit the ground. Dead instantly. Have u seen that bodybuilder dobtyst failed flip and die on the spot? Happens all the time. Most of them are just not filled in on the Internet

I’ve been in and out of dozens of gyms in my life and only once did I see a dog.  One time a member brought his German Shepherd in to show the gym owner.  It was on a leash.
