Actually, he stayed well on topic and put pressure squarely on congress to do their job. The will of the POTUS does count for something.

I highly doubt that politically 5.7 billion is worth being on the wrong side of a security/humanitarian issue for dems and rinos.

Being worried about "getting back at Trump" rather than addressing the issue just looks petty...and the next time a crime is committed by an illegal or somebody is mistreated in captivity at the border guess who the blame goes to?
