Our society reached the point where, in unison, they were calling for the death of and violence against a 15 year old. They were calling for violence against his mother and his peers too.

It doesn't even matter that a video came out later to prove that he was really doing nothing wrong at all. Just the fact that response happened to the very first video means that our society already crossed over into what was previously "dark territory".
