I wish I could remember the name of the guy who has a TEDX on YT about statins and just meds in general. I also wish I could remember the label for what it's called that he was talking about. Basically, it was breaking down the real effectiveness, safety, and avoidance of side effects when taking statins and when you break it down they really only help roughly 5% of people without significant side effects.
My Dr. put me on one years ago....I think it was called Simvastat or something like that. I went on WebMD and tossed that shit after reading about it
