Doesn't it make perfectly obvious sense to go ask the guy who looks like he knows what he's doing and is actually muscular than to seek advice from some skinny fat 21 year old personal trainer guy the gym hires who teaches people that taking vitamins and doing 50 rep sets and stretching on the mats is going to get them gains? You see like half the gym doing 90% of their exercises completely wrong, the blind leading the blind, and everyone taking advice from some hippie therapeutic medicine parrot 50 year old fat dude who think he knows everything about health and fitness because he read an article from Dr. Oz. Meanwhile the guys who are squatting 405+, have 20 inch arms, and doing every exercise with perfect tempo and form and lifting with perfect mind-muscle connection and a purpose are completely passed up and no one even imitates their workout routines or form. THey'd rather copy the workout of some cross fit circuit training jogger guy who has 13.5 inch arms and bench presses 95 lbs cuz he's funny and outgoing and doesn't actually workout but just socializes with everyone telling them the secret to getting into as "good of shape as he is" is to drink vegetable smoothies and eat fruit and nuts is the secret to being in shape
