I don't think the Rams O took the night off, I think the Pats D just showed up that much. On PFT, they said in the post about Edelman gettin MVP that Hightower and Gilmore were next in line. Honestly, if Sony Michel wasn't a rookie, and on a team that's able to get there 50% of the time he probably would have gotten it. 94 yds and the only touchdown against a D (the entire game for that matter) full of big names that mostly did it's job.

BTW, the line I bolded is fuckin comedy gold! Well done sir!

I don't know if you're watching this talent show with James Gordon that came on after, but the karate team would have been more remembered than Moron 5's performance.

Probably the worst Superbowl I have seen.

Boring. No action. Halftime show was terrible. Most of the people with us agreed. Except for one person (a girl) who said "who cares, Adam Levine took his shirt off"

I agree with the last part about stuff normally played at sports events, especially NFL games. That's why I say Metallica next year finally. They likely get a nice fat royalty check every year for "Fuel", "Master of Puppets", Wherever I May Roam", and "Battery" from the league. Every year those songs are in highlight shows, and clips.

Queen does deserve a spot, but let's try some "metal up your ass" next year, and then we can go back to teh gay.....as long as it's quality. Fair?

I'm not a Pats fan, but while you're gloating about the NFC East owning them I'd like to point out the Pats now have as many SB victories as the Giants have NFC Championship appearances (6), and 1 more SB title than the Giants and Eagles combined (5).

This was the first NFL game I watched since the 2016 Superbowl. I wanted to see Manning win another ring in 2016 and then tonight I wanted to see Brady get #6.

Now my NFL boycott is back on. Congrats to the GOAT.

Well if Jim Nantz was being serious during the game, $200 for a jersey is a bargain.

He mentioned the fan friendly concession prices at the stadium for the game. "A hot dog, chips, and drink can be had for only $105

If there's a point I'm trying to make, I guess it would be that the Pats basically have their stamp all over the modern era of the NFL record books at the player, coach, team, and owner level.....it's getting both absurd and annoying to be honest. Claiming any team, or division "owns" them is silly.

It's like a person being a day-trader, and doing better 3 days in their life than Warren Buffett did in the market and thinking they own him.

Seriously though, Belichick was out coached by Doug Pederson last year. Foles equalled Brady's performance. Look at the so called anointing of the next Offensive genius. The Eagles like the Patriots, play their best under the brightest lights.

Agreed with all, except the last part which is very debatable. As pointed out Eagles only have one SB period, and the gap between the one the won last year and their last appearance would be a good illustration of them not playing their best under the brightes lights.......far because they never get that far into or even make the playoffs. The Pats consistency over 17 years is mind blowing. 32 teams and made 9 of the last 17 SB's. Crazy.

I'm not into other pro sports. Someone please educate me by comparison how many teams pro baseball, basketball, and hockey have?

I see it a little differently. I thought it was brilliant. The Rams took everything away from New England's offense but they were still able to win by throwing to essentially one person.....Edelman.

Brady didn't set the world on fire, but their lack of scoring was by no means his fault. He didn't play bad individually, he wasn't making bad throws, the Rams just played exceptional defense.

This is what the Patriots do, they make timely plays and win close games in pressure situations. Football is a team sport but still................

The Patriots have had the easiest path to the playoffs for the last 19 years. They play in the AFC East! Dolphins, Jets and Bills.
