Also, does the author not realize that while the NFL players might be very pro minority, that DOES NOT include homosexuals! The NFL players are extremely anti gay, as are the rest of the 4 major sport leagues. Fucking hilarious lol

So my question in my thread was for gay/bi men, which you obviously either are gay or bi to post this repl. The question was about this being all over the national news as something ground breaking, and they were turning it into it being all about them. As if they did anything to earn the trip to the SB.

As a gay or bi person, do you feel that national coverage of this was warranted and actually ground breaking? If yes, would you say the same if they were both straight? (Let's be honest, the country would've never heard about it then)

Even if it was just that they were openly gay, I don't get the big deal. I'm sure there's been a good number of female cheerleaders that were lesbian/bi so that barrier was already broken.

I'm just curious if people that go the other way, think another way on this topic?
