Carnivore Diet (@ go4it especially)
« on: February 20, 2019, 07:15:28 AM »

Is this real life lmao? People saying they cured their illnesses through just eating meat  :P

One of the main arguments seems to be that this was the way early humans ate. But I doubt this is true as they wouldn't have been restricting themselves to meat only.

It seems similar to the hype which started with all the recent plant-based fads and also the lean gains 16-8/warrior diet a few years ago.

Jordan Peterson and his daughter seem like the typical millenial wimps also with all their bitchy symptoms.

Our resident pretty boy and slaying sailor go4it has some experience of it, it'd be good to hear his feedback after spending a few months doing it.

I followed this diet twice in the 90's... very strictly.  Both times were a 6 months stretch (I was natty).  As the weeks go on you get progressively weaker in the gym... even with the carb up days.

Natty:  You'll lose a lot of water weight and get ripped.  No bloating at all.  However, you'll be weaker, smaller and will not have a lot of energy for intense workouts, especially hard leg training.

Roided:  Totally different story.  This is what Arnold and most BBers did in the 70's and 80's for their contest prep.  The drugs give you the energy you need to train hard.

(I know quoting yourself is bad form, but it seemed relevant to cross post this)

It seems the REAL carnivore diet is.... raw.... (liquidised lambs liver anyone...?)   :-X :-X :-X

Stumbled on this guy due to him and that Vegan lunatic having a 'beef' (see what I did there?)

He's apparently an aspiring actor (with great teeth!), but currently chooses to wait on tables as he's learning about people  ::)  If you really want to see some excruciatingly awful acting check his show-reel LOL

But he's also set himself up as a YouTube diet & fitness expert, with a particular focus on the Carnivore diet, which is why he caught my eye.  Think the Go4It diet - except RAW!!  *bleurg*

But here's the thing:  after each mouthful of heart/testicle/etc he cuts to the next shot... Hmmmm...

GetBig - does Frankie Tufano spit or swallow..?

Cannibalism is the sweet spot. Our ancestors would do this to weed out the weak and feed the strong.

That guy is creepy AF. Like the carnivore version of Vegan Gains.

It isn't that meat fixed them, It's that there were foods which were causing the problem.

Petersen lost a heap of fat after he switched diets.

As I said before in previous posts, I highly recommend for all you guys to try this diet out at least for a month. You'll see zero bloat, zero gas, optimal digestion, strength gains, hair gains, fat loss, better energy levels, hair/skin improvement. Beef is loaded with vitamins and minerals,  one of the only foods a human can live solely on for a lifetime.  Haven't taken a single vitamin or supplement in months. Heaviest I've ever been, 204 lbs with abs currently,  no cardio for over 4 months.

what's your typical day of meals on your carnivore diet?
Most days I would just eat one of these 5lbs rolls of ground beef 80/20, some days I will throw in some eggs, salmon, bison, chicken. But red meat is the staple. Eat until I'm full each meal, most days 4-5lbs of meat.

what's the general stance in this diet about dairy? as it's all from the animal.

as natty as a man posing with a duckface

the strange thing is that it's become such a fad lol, like they discovered the holy grail, and it looks like a cult is building.

vegans and carnivore diet followers are opposite sides of the same coin. why not both in healthy amounts  ???

no offence to go4it as he's a top fella and probably mr getbig at the moment.

Funny how these young kids seem to have all the answers, but they never mention what anabolics they're taking.

"No supplements"?... my arse.   90% of it is drugs... and they all claim it's some magical diet they're on.  lol

Isn't this aka the 'Mike Matarazzo Diet'..?  ;D

Seriously though, how are you preparing your ground beef..?  Please tell me there's some Italian flair/herbs/seasoning going into it - not just plain broiling..?

And do you need fiber supplements, even occasionally..?

God this diet shit is idiotic. Limit calories, burn more than maintenance, lean out. To spare muscle while dieting, keep protein at about 1g per pound LEAN muscle mass. Story over. Early humans ate meat/organs/fat when they could kill something. Otherwise they ate plants, nuts, berries. This aint rocket science. Early humans were routinely hungry until they learned to herd animals or grow grains.
