Used to have a pretty complete home gym- and then I moved. What a pain so I sold it all. Currently pay $28 a month at a Gold’s Gym. Would never buy another weight ever again!

It is not easy to be motivated at home.

I lift at home and a commercial gym.  For decades I only lifted at home. If you are really motivated and serious about lifting then lifting at home isn't a problem.  The music is always what I like. I never wait for a machine. It's almost zen like in the solitude.

I think its more easier to stay motivated. You could get a few sets in, take a break, workout later on, go back and forth with ease. I would find that much more simpler and motivating, instead of driving to the gym.

I rather workout at home ,open 24/7,  no distractions ,no waiting ,play my own music , no shirt , posing between sets.......

That Rogue stuff costs a fortune.

Buy a 300 lb barbell set, some extra plates, a sturdy bench and a $300 squat cage.

Buy used.

Bang, you're done.

What can you do with this?

Squats
Standing presses
Bench presses
Close grip bench
Rows
Pull-ups
Curls
Deadlifts
Power cleans
Cleans
Overhead squats
Pullovers
Calf raises
Hang cleans
Romanian deadlifts
Power jerks
Push presses
Incline press

I think the machine below, which is a low and high pulley system, would really round out a good home gym. You can do lots of exercises for pretty much every body part.

I just ask Ronnie if I can work out at his home gym since he’s having spine surgeries often and not using it

Working out with those lever arms might be ok for a few workouts, but it would get boring very fast.

This is what I do while taking care of my kids. I’ll do a set then play with the kids for a few minutes, set, repeat. The kids love to come in the garage and watch me work out.  So I started teaching them body weight squats.  At their age (5 and 3)they think it’s fun, and it’s imprinting on them to live live an active lifestyle.  Getting a garage gym was a very worthwhile investment.

Always been a home gym trainer, while also going to a good local gym.
Motivation and equipment never an issue.

That’s impressive! You need some more square footage in there, it’s busting at the seams. I’m jealous of all that equipment.  I also go to a local gym 1-2 days a week. It breaks up the monotony.
