Anyone even watches this shit anymore? There was a time when I actually took somewhat of an interest in who won the awards. Now, I don't care at all and don't even know when it's on. Most people I speak to feel similar.

Don't support Hollywood at all. Don't pay for Netflix, cable or movies. You're just funding propaganda against yourself. Don't complain at all if you pay for cable, netflix, or movies.

I'd much rather fund this guy below than Harvey Weinstein, Judd Apatow or other monsters.

In the press room, Lee said, “I’m snakebit. I mean every time somebody's driving somebody, I lose. But they changed the seating arrangement!” Lee’s film Do the Right Thing did not win any awards in 1990—the year Driving Miss Daisy won multiple awards including Best Picture. When asked specifically about his reaction to Green Book winning, he reportedly said, “Next question!” (Speaking to the BBC, he says his response was: “Let me sip some Champagne.”) He closed by saying, “Whether we won Best Picture or not, this film will stand the test of time being on the right side of history.”

Maybe he should dress like an adult if he wants to win.

He is right that 'Do The Right Think' should of won over 'Driving Miss Daisy'. That was a good movie.  But his disgust for someone else's movie isn't cool, especially since it was between Roma and Green Book.  My question, is did he even see the movie, or just likes to complain because anything that touches any any for of racism that he doesnt like isnt good enough?

As for diversity - it does not matter the color of your skin, or race.  It matters if you enjoy the movie, and if it was worth it.  This year's Oscars winners were good, less political and more fair.

Spike Lee was the most immature and classless person at the Academy Awards yesterday.  Wearing clothes that make him look like a pimp (or a ghetto version of Prince) while yelling from his seat at people on stage.  When he won his award (a shared award) he jumps into Samuel L. Jackson's arms and makes a huge spectacle of himself and then reads some almost incoherent rant about slaves being brought over and how we have an election coming up and everyone needs to do the right thing on election day.  He rambles for several minutes so that none of his co creators could thank anyone or say anything it was all about me, me, me!  While most actors looked presentable and keep politics out of it Spike had to do his own thing and make an ass out of himself.  He is a caricature of a ghetto black man.

What movie did Spike Lee make and get a shared award for?

I have to run two pages now, because this one keeps getting put in Facebook jail:

Mark Zuckerber and Facebook have been under much scrutiny for a couple of years now. It's not a good for business for them to support people who hold your position on certain things.  ;D

There is nothing like eating a bag of popcorn, drinking a nice glass of red wine, cuddling on the couch with that special one, while watching The Oscars.

Just saw a commercial about Asian-PAcific people, and it said something to the effect like:

"And there is hope that one day the President looks like them". Totally libtarded.

Then the racist story yesterday about "We need more black coaches in the NFL".

Some guy responded:

"Is it racist if we said we need more white guys in the NFL/NBA"? Bunch of libtard commenter's melted down.
