Long story short, this movie received too many "Don't wanna see it" reviews on Rotten Tomatoes because of the main actress's racist comments when saying she doesn't want any white males in her press release or as movie critics. So Rotten Tomatoes removed the ability to review a movie before it's released.

The Character "Captain Marvel" is tied up in legal issues...Which is why they they called the movie that will be out in April "Shazam!"

This is one of those they should have left alone there were to many captain marvels one who they killed off by cancer...
There are not two heroes named Captain Marvel but rather six. Five are from Marvel comics, and the original is a DC character. The original version (Billy Batson) was created by Fawcett comics in 1939, but was eventually bought by DC in the 70's. Somewhere along the line the owners let the copyright for the name lapse, and Marvel Comics swooped in and took it.

Also captain marvel gives his powers from one person to another hes a super hero that can actually give someone his powers..and the reason its a woman is because there was a MS Marvel but they changed it to just captain marvel.

I braced myself for awful when I saw Black Panther but it wasn't that bad. I get the feeling no amount of lowering expectations for this movie will work.

As enjoyable as it was Black Panther was very average movie. Wonder Woman (DC) was better, but both were hyped up by critics as the best thing since sliced bread and felt like agenda pushing.

This will probably be in the same vein and it will be a huge success for Marvel.

Interestingly these agenda pushing movies tend to be a huge success in the US/Canada, but don't do as well outside the North America. The more standard Surperhero movies usually do much better outside North America.

Couldn't make it through a half hour of Wonder Women. I thought it was horrendous.
