With the depth of the line-up in this years Masters Worlds, it's hard to imagine that anyone could have been overlooked. But considering the overall quality (shape, conditioning, posing, and size) of Rusty Jeffers versus his overall placing, one cannot help but think he was robbed tonight.

I'm sure everyone knows by now about Rusty's career as a gay porn star, but here's the skinny for those who don't. Under the moniker "Carl Hardwick", Jeffers starred in several jag-off films appealing to queers keen on hairy muscular cowboys with mustaches. Basically he just jerked off in front of a camera.

Now before you guys compare him to our very own Derek Anthony, consider the following: he doesn't use synthol, he actually has a pro-caliber physique, he doesnt wear a rug, and his porn career was far more succesful. Unlike Derek, Rusty isn't a cocky jackass. Despite his questionable career, he still seems to have maintained his dignity. Again, unlike Derek.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of gay porn and/or those who star in them. But I hope you can all overlook the fact that Rusty Jeffers starred in some (well, a lot) when you judge his physique and see it for it's true potential on this and future IFBB stages.

Bottom line: He deserved to be in that top 5 tonight - period.

I took a look at the photos of this show over at bodybuilding.com and Rusty had the best overall physique in my opinion. Best overall combination of shape, proportions, muscle size, cuts, aesthetic appeal on stage. He was definitely the best athlete (or bodybuilder if you wish) there.

I wouldn't be surprised if his career in gay porn and the fact that he wore a mustache (like the one on the film case in the just deleted thread) had a direct impact on his placings. It can be difficult to put somethings behind you, no pun intended.

Bodybuilding is a weird endeavor, its obvious that many of the competitors are gay, bi-curious, or willing to play gay for pay. Its obvious that a large percentage of the fans swing from the other side of the lake. What is strange is that despite this, when it gets out that these competitors are engaging in homosexual activity/ work they are black listed (or at least seem to be).

Bob Paris
Chris Duffy

It seems to be a case of the Millitary's "Don't ask, Don't tell" Translation: You betta not tell me or else
