Right now I'm on my laptop so I'll make this short and sweet.

Rusty Jeffers will never win any pro shows even if he screws his head off and puts it on Ronnie Coleman's physique. The reason is because he stars in gay porn films with the main emphasis on the porn part. The judges will completely ignore him regardless because of the stigma and for the fact that it will hurt the "integrity" of the title.

Rusty may have deserved to be in the top 5 but sometimes outside circumstances will affect placings. Think about it, all the Mr Olympia's had one thing in common. They weren't outspoken, they are quiet, and they were not doing weird things outside.

sad but very tre post aboiuit the reality of his involvement with gay pros ,may be a definite factor in his low placing.
Sadder still is how some of those that condem him for it are most likely beatin' off over the same videos...go figure

So does Larry Scott, Arnold Schwartznegger, Frank Zane, and many other 60's and 70's bodybuilders. It was however in a dignified manner.

Obviously the judges. Sorry but doing porn is not cool and its the reason why he'll never win any pro shows. I'm surprised he even won the Master Nationals but he won't be winning anything else. I'm sure he's a great guy and all but as a professional bodybuilder, you must properly conduct yourself on and off the stage. Being gay is not a problem, its doing porn that will screw up your career like no other. Tom Prince is another example, as soon as he won the Nationals, he went to Colt Magazine for pictures. He made 3000 bucks but lost any opportunity of advancing further.

Bob Chic on the other hand has conducted himself as a professional bodybuilder and has not done any of the stuff these guys have done. I think the only time was when him and Kamali were at the Weider's office and drew pictures of Craig Titus as Myrtle the Turtle.

As far as a fix is concerned, I'd seriously doubt there was a fix. Pavol may have looked better in the evening but its the morning show that counts. Claude upper body is overpowered by his legs. Bob simply came in with his X frame and took his first pro win. Doesn't make a difference if the competition wasn't fierce and can you honestly expect it to be?

i just saw the posing routine of jeffers, damn this guy can POSE!! i JUST LOVED IT! bodybuilding at its best! it almost brought tears to my eyes, because you see this kind of posing ability not alot these days. i think its also way better than the melvin/Darrem type of posing with all the fancy stuff. rusty´s posing is so pure.

Bodybuilding is a weird endeavor, its obvious that many of the competitors are gay, bi-curious, or willing to play gay for pay. Its obvious that a large percentage of the fans swing from the other side of the lake. What is strange is that despite this, when it gets out that these competitors are engaging in homosexual activity/ work they are black listed (or at least seem to be).

It seems to be a case of the Millitary's "Don't ask, Don't tell" Translation: You betta not tell me or else policy.

I never said Bob shouldn't have won - I already congratulated him. I'm just disappointed and upset that Rusty Jeffers wasn't AT LEAST in the top 5. Look at the pics, watch the videos - Rusty had a legitimate shot at 2nd and yet they never compared him to Chick! That's just wrong. Chick has routinedly threatened and insulted people on the message boards, and hated all over a new division with plenty of money and opportunities for the new athletes.

You don't see Garett Downing or Jay Cutler or Dexter Jackson doing these things.

At least Rusty has been open about his Carl Hardwick modeling for Colt, although he discontinued it several years ago. But if IFBB judges--some of whom, btw, are known to be gay closet cases-- are still penalizing him for his Hardwick work, why aren't they doing the same for other pros who "secretly" engage in much more explicitly homosexual stuff (often for big-bucks pay)? Is there a double standard operating here?

Ahh, welcome to the world of bodybuilding.

I remember going to the EMpire Statebuilding for our drug testing (polygraph) for the NGA. After the testing i remember competitors sighing in relief and saying "Shiit, glad I passed that test, because i used not to long ago" I didn tthink anything of it.
Day of the show, when I was in 5th place, and the guy in 1st was one of the guys that made such comments, I realized competitve bodybuilding is a waste of TIME, unless you have what its go to be a TOP PRO.
