That went on for decades. FYI, it wasn't one political side guilty of it. A lot of families with $$ did it and it's WRONG!
I don't think anyone should be able to bribe their way into any college , Med or Law school.
If a rich guy wants to pay for a new science building with a legal donation and the private college decides to admit his kid that is their business.
That's not a bribe. There all kinds of reasons colleges accept one kid and deny another.
Nobody is doctoring the kid's SAT scores and photo shopping his face onto a Google image athlete's head.
The stuff in question was not legal.
There is a saying: The A student returns to be a professor, the C student returns to pay for the Science building.
