In the 1990's at Golds Venice, everyone called him Robbery Robinson instead of Robbie Robinson. Always made me giggle. I giggle often.

Was he ever banned from Gold's for a while during your time? I think it was a guy named Robert Schuh that said he was banned from Gold's for a few weeks because of it in the late 80's, early 90's.

As for the new Robinson thing, he tried a similar guilt trips for years. When his book sales slowed down he did it, when the "members only" part of his website didn't sell he did it again, etc....

Veteran's medical benefits vary. There are eight different levels of benefits. https://www.caring.com/articles/who-qualifies-for-va-medical-benefits/ Although you can have both Medicare and VA medical benefits, it appears you have to pick one of the other to use for each medical incident. Either one usually only pays 80% of the expenses.

Sure. The story Schuh and another old timer told on Misc.Fitness.Weights years ago, was that he actually got caught going through a gym bag, and they dragged him into an office and told him he was banned, but they relented because he just kept showing up. I wish I could find the story, but a lot of that MFW stuff vanished when google bought Deja News.
