Maybe it is about time, but don't jump the gun. The U.S. southern border is not closed yet and there is much to consider. It is likely the Republican party will not support this action because of the negative financial impact on the U.S.

Any idea how the logistics of closing the border, say in El Paso, will work when thousands cross it each day, both those coming to work or school in El Paso and those going to work in Juarez, where there are a lot of manufacturing jobs. Las Cruces and San Diego have the same situation.

At least you find stuff, read through it, post it, and then include a thought out post as to your agreement/disagreement with the content. Some of the threads I'm upset are bumped are discussions that have been going for some time now, and some were started by you actually......I'm fighting for your stuff too here dipshit (I know...it's hard for me to comprehend to, believe me! ).  Don't get it twisted just because your happy to have a friend that agrees with you til he gets bored and goes away again.

Unfortunately, a lot of your advice is given with too much ridicule and very little clarity or help.  Frankly, you come off as if you are lecturing as opposed to advising. Occasionally, you even seem to be setting me up. You may not know it, but you like to express your opinions much more than you like to listen to those of other people. Constructive conversations include some give and take. You've got the "give" part down pat. If you want to be understood and appreciated for your cleverness and intelligence, learn to make concessions.

We have been pretty liberal (so to speak) about how the board has been moderated since its inception.  I've never banned anyone for being irritating, or dumb, or a hack, or attacking me personally, etc.  I like the fact the board is lightly moderated.  That doesn't mean I like everything that gets posted.

I think Howard is a troll and have said that to him, but he does post relevant stuff, whether you agree with his politics or humor or not (I don't).  But I asked him to slow down and he did.

I'm not calling for him to not post at all.  Posts are easy to skip over.  Having to search for threads, or remember what the title of the one's we're interested in that have been steady discussions and have remained at the top for a while until Howard came along and bumped them all down is a pain in the ass.  He clearly is in need of attention of some sort to just reappear, and be starting 20+ threads in a few days.

Again, I'm actually arguing for some of the threads that were started by you.  You're annoying, and you likely feel the same but neither one of us is trying to own the entire "started by" column like he was.  When you start a thread with a link, it seems like you have at least read the fucking thing.  That's something Howard apparently can't be bothered with, and it's annoying.
