"They want to change toy aisles around the world.."
No offense to anyone of the other persuasion, but the reality is that if Mattel caters to this these two will accomplish their mission. It just won't be in the way that they envisioned. The change will be what the thread title implies, and a long standing iconic brand will slowly (maybe quickly) die. I don't have kids so it won't be me doing it, but I do think that's what will happen.
Again, I ask the gays on this board to tell us what is better about your life other than being able to marry since say 2000ish, when gays became "mainstream" for lack of a better term? If not "your" life, tell us about your gay "friend" and how his/her life has gotten better "reportedly"?
Also, is being able to get married really that great of a thing? I mean beforehand, it seemed like a dream relationship to heteros in a sense (other than the gay part). How many guys have caved into a woman's demand of getting married to prove their commitment to the girl...."you don't really love me unless..."? Then years later, after the man has provided the home, retirement account, gym membership, personal trainer, and new set of tits; they're left going wtf did I put a ring on that shit?
I'm wondering if there are any stories out there about gay men that marry and adopt, and then divorce where one of the guys gets raped by the court system like a straight male does when divorcing? If not yet, I'm sure there will be soon. Happy equality!!!
