It's really a strange relationship that we've got to witness for about 15 years on the boards now.

One needs someone to constantly validate how great he is, and the other gets validation by being buds with one of the "greats" ::)

These two will grow old together.  At some point Jay will install one of those stair chairs for madmax to come upstairs from his basement so that they can chat about all their old stories.

Doesn't seem too be, I've spoken with him a couple of times and was cool with me. Before today the last time I saw him is when I was with Abbas and he was doing a piece Cutlers channel with Abbas and a competitor he trained.

In 2007, he was backstage taking pictures of a washed out Jay, and saying "Done deal - it's a done deal", to which Jay responded "It's not done until it's done", or something like that.

Even Jay knew that Victor looked vastly superior.  Wolf too, IMO.

Jay was good enough for maybe 5th that night though.

Came back strong in 2009 though.

Do you find it a bit strange for a grown 50 year old man following around another 45+ year old man everyday? Shouldn’t he have a family of his own to tend to?

I’m sure Dave is a nice guy but borderline creepy and schmoetastic

Yes, extremely, and yes or at least definitely something of his own.

Jay literally had the American story book dream life with Kerry, and threw it away to be huge.  What a waste of that poor girl's time believing he could keep his promise and put himself aside for her and their future children.  All to hang out in his old age with a schmoe, and a live in gf that's using him for his "fame" and money. :P
